About the Trainer

TLC Dog Training, LLC is owned and operated by Laura Williams of Matawan, New Jersey. With over fifteen years of experience training dogs, I use only positive clicker training techniques and methods. I believe "a well-behaved dog is only a click away".

I am a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator (#7470). I volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I help train, socialize and temperament test shelter dogs in hopes of improving their chance of being adopted. To remain current in the field of dog training and behavior modification I attend seminars and read extensively.

My husband and I are currently 'owned' by two Labrador Retrievers, Brodie and Tucker.  "The Boys" are currently being trained in the sport of dog agility.  Brodie recently attained his NADAC NAC and NCC titles and AKC NJP title.
